Most newcomers on Making Money Online tend fail because they get bogged down with information. Lots of information. And that is the truth.
Everybody is telling them they need to know this, do that, don't do THAT! Buy this product! Follow this system! All this information overload leads to "analysis paralysis". You get my point?
You're scared to do anything in case you get it wrong. Or you start something, and then change course mid–stream.
You're scared of investing time (and money) into a dead end.
You're trying to build a better life for yourself and your family, but you still need to keep paying the bills, so you're still hammering away at your "real job".
You can't decide which direction to move in, so you don't go anywhere!
(And this is a terrible shame, because it's actually very easy to succeed as an affiliate. You just need to follow instructions...)
The funny thing is that it's often the very smartest people who end up floundering. The people with all the experience (that you'd think would shoot them to the top of the class) end up waving their arms around, going "what should I do?" and then go back to their regular jobs, convinced that it's impossible.
The people who succeed are the people who just put their heads down and do it. They might see someone else's affiliate site and say "I'm going to do one like that!" and that's what they do.
They don't reinvent the wheel. They don't try to find the "next big thing". They see what's working, and they copy it.
Later on they can get all innovative, but it's the first site that's the hurdle.
It's the first site, and the first taste of success, that means the difference between success and day job.
Sounds strange, doesn't it? But it's true.
